How this website handles information, and how it differs from the Trip Manager application that schools sign in to.
This page is a placeholder and is not a complete privacy notice. It describes the marketing website only. Before launch, the site owner must replace the marked sections below with the reviewed wording for Education Host Ltd, including the data controller details, the lawful bases relied on, retention periods, the actual cookie and analytics position once measurement is added, and the contact route for data-protection enquiries. Nothing on this page has been reviewed by a legal adviser or a data protection officer.
Two different things
This website (schooltripmanager.com) is a public
marketing site. It describes the Trip Manager product. It has no accounts, no
sign-in and no forms, and it does not hold any pupil or parent information.
The Trip Manager application is the separate, access-controlled platform that schools and parents sign in to. It processes pupil, staff and parent information on behalf of the school, which is the data controller for that information. The terms covering it — including the data-processing arrangements, security commitments and access arrangements — are agreed in writing with each school during onboarding and are not covered by this page.
What this website collects
This site is a set of static files. It does not ask you for any information, and it contains no forms, no sign-in, no third-party trackers and no advertising code.
- No cookies are set by this website.
- No analytics or tracking scripts are loaded.
- No fonts, scripts or images are requested from third-party services. Everything the page needs is served from this domain.
The only JavaScript on the site is a small file served from this domain that opens and closes the mobile menu and the FAQ answers. It sends nothing anywhere.
Server logs
To be completed by the site owner. Like most websites, the web server hosting this site will keep standard access logs, which typically record the IP address, the page requested, the time of the request and the browser user agent. Confirm with the hosting provider what is logged, how long those logs are kept and on what basis, then replace this box with that description.
Links to other websites
The “Book a demo”, “Request pricing” and “Contact Education Host” links on this site go to educationhost.co.uk. That website is operated by Education Host Ltd and has its own privacy notice and its own cookie behaviour. This page does not cover it.
Your rights
To be completed by the site owner. Set out the rights available under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability — how someone exercises them, how long a response takes, and the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Who to contact
Still to be published. A dedicated address for privacy and data-protection enquiries, the registered company details for Education Host Ltd, and its ICO data protection register entry will be published here before launch. They are listed as outstanding items in the site’s upload notes.
